As I have now returned to the UK the new team; Natasha Dalmia, Anji Hallewell and Elaine Ho are now managing the Network. Meetings will continue to be advertised on the Linked In Group page and on the SMU website.
This group includes a diverse group of interdisciplinary professionals who provide a range of services to help individuals enjoy healthier, happier, more peaceful lives and help organizations improve productivity, collaboration, and morale. We share a passion for increasing mind fitness, effectiveness, and well being in the context of busy work lives through training the mind to be more focused, relaxed, and aware.
There is no fee to attend the meetings in the spirit of sharing mindfulness and supporting one another. Gratitude to Jochen Reb, Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources who invites the Network to meet at Singapore Management University as part of the Mindfulness Initiative he has been central to establishing. Also to the team who organised and members who present.

Mini Silent Retreat - Aug & Oct 2017
STAY PRESENT is a mini silent retreat intended to provide space and support for participants to engage in more focused practice and to deepen mindfulness skills. Staying present to our direct experience, as opposed to being our “auto-pilot mode”, allows us greater clarity and ease to make conscious choices in our responses which enhances our personal well-being and effectiveness as well as interpersonal relationships.
In this retreat, you spend most of your time in silence, tuning in and being with yourself. You are led through various practices including:
Mindful movement to energize and facilitate energy flow
Body scan to develop self-awareness of your body states
Sitting and walking meditation to develop concentration and focus
Heart-focused breathing to develop resilience
There will be some time for you to explore self-expression through art, and to have a check-in conversation. All the 'activities' will have short periods of personal quiet time to yourself to reflect and just be.
Facilitated by Samantha Boo & Michael Lynch
It will be held at The Studio, Botanic Gardens View
